Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the three plans?

Every plan gives you your own AI journalist that learns your story and writes in your voice. The plans differ in how many posts you can create each month and how far back your journalist's memory reaches. Free gives you 2 posts per month, Standard gives you 12, and Pro gives you 48.

What does "memory" mean?

Memory is how your AI journalist remembers what you've told it across conversations. It tracks the people, places, timelines, and details from your life so it can write with full context instead of starting from scratch every time. On the Free plan, memory goes back 30 days. On Standard and Pro, memory is endless—your journalist never forgets.

Why does memory matter?

The more your journalist remembers, the better it writes. With endless memory, it can connect something you mentioned months ago to a story you're telling today. It catches continuity, avoids repeating questions, and writes with the kind of depth that only comes from knowing your full history.

What counts as a "post"?

A post is a finished journalistic interview. Once your AI journalist completes an interview with you and drafts your content, that counts as one post toward your monthly limit. You can record as many voice notes as you want during the interview — the post is only counted when the journalist finishes writing.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from within the app. If you upgrade mid-month, you get immediate access to the higher limits. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?

The Free plan itself is the best way to try Proofd. Use it for as long as you like with 2 posts per month, then upgrade when you want more.
